About Us

As a lifelong book lover, reading has always been at the core of who I am. Growing up immersed in a world of books, each one opened new horizons and shaped my understanding of life. My personal bookshelf was more than just a place to store books—it was a reflection of my journey, a curated collection of stories and ideas that influenced me.

But with the rise of digital technology, things have changed. Since getting my first Kindle, my physical bookshelf has remained untouched. The books I’ve read since then are confined to digital files or live only in my memory. I’m not alone in this experience. Many of us have transitioned away from physical bookshelves, embracing e-readers, borrowing from libraries, sharing books within the circular economy, or simply not having the space for shelves filled with books.

Yet, the bookshelf was once a powerful means of expression. It wasn’t just about the books themselves, but about what they represented—the passions, curiosities, and experiences that have shaped us. A bookshelf served as a personal gallery, a silent storyteller, inviting others to understand us better and sparking meaningful conversations.

With my background in information visualization, I wanted to find a way to bring that personal bookshelf back into our lives in a form that fits our modern lifestyles. That’s how The Bookshelf Print came to be. While reading is often a solitary pursuit, the true richness of books emerges when we share them with others—whether it’s discussing ideas with friends, recommending a favorite to family, or connecting with strangers over shared interests.

The Bookshelf Print allows you to create personalized posters that capture and display the books that have left a mark on your life. It’s more than just wall décor; it’s a celebration of your unique literary journey. By showcasing the stories and ideas that have shaped who you are, you open the door to new conversations and connections, inviting others to explore the narratives that have inspired you.
